How do you charge for proofreading?
Proofreading rates are usually half of translations rates. Again, as proofreading services taps our expertise in translations. There are some occasions where we would recommend to redo the entire file or document if the quality is not up to our standards. We will notify you before we proceed.
How do you charge for DTP?
We charge per page. In most cases, our DTP projects comes in integrating translated texts in the pages for marketing and advertising materials.
What is a language pair?
Language pairs includes the source language and the language you want it translated. The source language is the language the original text is based on. We can translate over 70+ major languages. Take a pic and we’ll handle the rest.
What does nature of the document mean?
The nature of the document pertains to the description, topic, essence, and type of the documents. It is usually categorized in to general, technical, legal, marketing, web, commercial content.
What is the volume?
We usually ask the volume of the project. It can go as low as 1 letter or 1 page. This helps us measure the turnaround time for the project. If you do not know the volume of the words or page, feel free to send the documents to us and we can do it for you! Also, bulk translations also mean discounts for our partner.
When do you need it?
We can translate around 1500-2000 words per day for a client. It is important for us to know a time frame. We do not want to rush our translators as we are very stringent when it comes to the quality of the translations. We also do not want to be late. This is why a certain time line for the project will help us measure and asses the project more accurately.
Can you send a sample text or a sample document?
To give you a better and detailed quote, we need to see the documents. We do not want to promise something we cannot deliver. This helps us get a feel on how to go about the project to ensure that the quality of the translations exceeds you expectations and the timeline for the project is met.
What file type to do you prefer?
We can work with almost all types of files. We just need to know the type of file of the original document is going to be in and what type of file will the translated document be in. This will save you all the trouble of file conversions.
